Central Medical Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for medical graduates’ recruitment into a variety of Central Government Organisations, and Services. These recruitment examinations occurred within the given rules published by the ‘Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in the Gazette of India.
UPSC CMS 2023 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will deliver the UPSC CMS notice 2023 on April 19, 2023, on the official site - upsc.gov.in. The Online UPSC CMS 2023 Application Form will be Available from April 19 to May 9, 2023. The UPSC CMS test 2023 is booked to be hung on July 16, 2023.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) for the posts of Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services, etc. as per the available vacancies.
UPSC CMS is directed in 2 phases - Computer-based Examination and Personality test. The Computer-based Examination contains 2 papers - Paper 1 (General Medicine and Pediatric), and Paper 2 (Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, and Preventive and Social Medicine).

Fill UPSC CMS Application Form The Official UPSC official website - upsc.gov.in.
Candidates have to fill out the UPSC CMS 2023 application form in two parts which include filling in other details, fee payment, uploading of scanned documents, signature, photo identity card document, and selection of preferred exam center.
After submission, a registration number will be generated. Candidates have to download it as a pdf file and take a printout for future reference

Eligibility Criteria For UPSC CMS- 2023
Candidate Age Limit For UPSC CMS 2023
- A UPSC-CMS participating candidate must not have attained more than 32 years of age, i.e. the student must not have been born earlier than 2nd august, 1989
- The upper age limit students will be relax-able in the following constraints :
- Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to SC/ST criteria.
- Up to a maximum of 3 years if a candidate is belonging to OBC class, and who is eligible to avail of reservation.
- Up to a maximum of 3 years if a candidate is belonging to a Defence Services & is personally disabled during the operations with any foreign country or in a disturbed area.
- Up to a maximum of 5 years in the case of Ex-serviceman, including commissioned officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years in Military Service as on 1st August 2021.
- Up to a maximum of 5 years in the case of ECOs/SSCOs who have completed their initial period of assignment of 5 years of Military Service as on 1st August 2021 and whose assignment has been extended beyond 5 years.
- Up to a maximum of 10 years in the case of (a) Deaf & Hard of Hearing (b) Blindness or Low Vision (c) Locomotor disability like cerebral palsy, leprosy, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy (d) autism, intellectual disability, specific learning illness (e) multiple disabilities under the clauses of Section-34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
