Overview For Sainik School Exam 2023 | Sanik School Notification

 All India Sainik School Admission Form has been released. Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi invites applications from aspirants seeking Admission to Sainik Schools for the academic year 2023-24. Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. The Society runs Sainik Schools. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated with CBSE. Sainik Schools prepare Cadets to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, and other Training Academies for officers. There are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country.

Sainik Schools Society (SSS) offers admission to Class VI and Class IX for the academic year 2023-24, Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). The final selection is based on school-wise, class-wise, and category-wise rank in the merit list of the Entrance examination, medical fitness approved by competent Medical authorities, and verification of original documents.

The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online applications for AISSEE 2023, conducting AISSEE 2023, processing and declaration of results,s and providing the merit list to the SSS.

Age Limit criteria for admission in SAINIK SCHOOL as of 31st March 2023

Admission For Class VI

• Candidate Should be 10-12 years old by 31st March 2023
• The candidate Should be Born Between 1 April  2011- 31, March 2013.
• Admissions are Open For Girls to Class VI

Admission For Class IX

• Candidate Should be 13-15 years old by 31st March 2023
• The candidate Should be Born Between 1 April  2008- 31, March 2010.
• Admissions are Not Open For Girls to Class IX
• Students have passed Class 8 From Recognized Board For The Admission

AISSEE Exam Will be held on 8 January 2023

Duration of Examination

• For Class VI - 150 Min  
• For Class IX- 180 Min

Timing of Examination

• For Class  VI  - 2 PM To 4.30 PM
• For Class IX - 2 PM To 5:00 PM
