The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is an online entrance exam
conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (formerly known as Manipal
University) for admission to various programs. The exam is conducted annually
and is a computer-based test. It is used for admission to programs such as
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of
Engineering (M.E), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and other
programs offered by the university. The exam covers subjects such as
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The MET is a widely
accepted certification and can be used for evaluation, educational advancement,
scholarships, and/or career progression. MET is conducted as a
computer-based test at miltiple centres and the candidates will be required to
attempt objective multiple-choice questions.

MET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Nationality -
Indian nationals can apply for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) under the
general category, subject to eligibility and equivalency. Foreign nationals, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card
Holders, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indian (NRI), and NRI
Sponsored candidates can also apply for the MET under the Foreign / NRI
category.
Educational Qualification –
Candidate must have passed a 10+2 examination from any
recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as
compulsory subjects and Bio-technology/Biology/any technical vocational subject
as an optional subject, with a minimum aggregate mark of 50% in Physics,
Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects.

The
final examination for the 10+2 system of higher secondary examination will be
conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New
Delhi), and the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination.

Intermediate
or two-year pre-university examination administered by a recognised
Board/University.
·
Advanced
(A) level of the General Certificate of Education (Cambridge/London/Sri Lanka).
MET HOW TO APPLY 2024
Here are the steps to apply for Manipal Entrance Test
(MET) 2024:
1. Visit the
official website of Manipal Academy of Higher Education at manipal.edu.
2. Click on
the "Admissions" tab and select "Apply Now."
3. Register
yourself by providing your basic details such as email address and mobile
number.
4. Generate a
password for future login.
5. Fill out
the application form with your personal, academic, and contact details.
6. Upload
scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specifications
mentioned in the notification.
7. Pay the
